27th June, 2009 PocketZax released for Windows Mobile

After recently picking up a new Windows Mobile device, I was disappointed to find that there weren't any Z-Machine Interactive Fiction interpreters that worked well. There were a couple of existing options, but neither of them looked good or worked properly on my device, particularly when operating in landscape mode.

I therefore decided to set about creating an interpreter that would do everything I needed. And PocketZax is it. Now you can play all those classic adventure games, back to Infocom's greats such as Zork and Enchanter, right up to the huge selection of recent titles created using the Inform compiler.

PocketZax is released as freeware and is compatible with all devices running Windows Mobile 2003SE or later.
