Hello, and welcome to my website!
I'm Adam Dawes, and I'm a gamer, coder, author, radio DJ (and probably many other things depending on my mood) based in the south of England.
The things on this site are all my personal projects. Most of this stuff I do for fun, so there are lots of free things here. Some of the content is getting a bit old and dusty now so watch out for the occasional cobweb as you explore, but hopefully you'll find some things that look interesting and fun.
I've been developing software for a very long time -- I started out aged 4 back in the 1970s programming BASIC on a Commodore PET. Through the years I've spent my time deep into various languages including 6502 assembly language, 68000 assembly language, C++ and many others. These days I spend my time primarily using C#, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and other related technologies.
Lots of projects I've worked on over the years have sadly been retired, and are no longer present on the site. These include TellyPrompter, all my Windows Phone projects, a variety of games for Psion Organisers, and a pile of games and utilities for the Commodore Amiga. If there's anything you're looking for that you can no longer find on the site, please get in touch and let me know, perhaps I'll be able to find it for you.
As well as the stuff on this site, I also regularly present radio shows on my favourite radio station, The 90s Network. The station broadcasts from Dublin, Ireland, 24 hours a day, commercial free. It has a great selection of music, and you can hear me at the weekends on Saturday at 5pm UK time for my show "Live and Unplugged", and again every Sunday at 4pm UK time presenting "Now That's What I Call the 90s Network". Take a look at the website for lots more information.
That's about it, I think. If you feel like saying hello, please do! I'd love to hear from you.
All the best,
-- Adam.
